Mindful Money SF

  • WeWork SOMA 156 2nd Street San Francisco, CA, 94105 United States (map)

For the first Mindful Money SF of 2018, we are going to examine the subject of mindful money as it relates to scarcity versus abundance. Join us if you are an individual who wants to be more mindful with their money, if you are a financial professional that wants to have a better understanding of the psychology of money, or if you are an entrepreneur building a product of your own!

Dr. Eric Gold will share some insights from his career on what large companies do to help their customers with their money. He has been an advocate for the retail customer - he infused behavioral economics in everything from product development to website design. The focus of his talk is on how people act when money is abundant or scarce, the good and bad and ugly of the psychology what you spend your money on. After more of an academic focus from Dr. Gold, Birju Pandya will help bring a much-appreciated focus on mindfulness. He will discuss the neurology of capitalism, and how to grow ‘real wealth’ (including well-being) while playing in the field of money.
